It seems that you've switched to a new non-modal commit interface. With it, the Local Changes and Shelf tabs are in a new Commit tool window on the left side of the editor. You can switch back to the old experience in Preference | Version Control | Commit.pic.twitter.com/rJAbykqjXJ
Thanks, even with the non-modal commit interface, I still want the old "Local Changes" and "Shelf" tab in the git window, I use them together and for navigation.
Sorry, they both can now only be used from the Commit tool window which is now the main entry point for working with changed files. Any specific reason why you want to see them together with the Git log? Or is a problem with the default position of the Commit tool window?
