.@WebStormIDE is there a way to exclude a folder from « smart refactoring », I was searching for an issue in my code which was linked to a update made by a « smart refactoring » operation (I never asked of course). #react #devlife #webstorm
By "smart refactoring", do you mean a specific code refactoring, e.g. rename, or is it about all code refactorings in WebStorm? Can you provide an example where you had that problem caused by a code refactoring operation?

Renaming. I renamed : ⤷ /src/components/SomeComponent/index.js To ⤷ /src/components/SomeComponent/SomeComponent.js And it modified as string ’index.js’ (unrelated of course) in ⤷ /utilities/distribution-server.js

Thanks for sharing more details! As it got modified as a string, you could've had the `Search in comments and strings` box ticked. In general, we'd recommend double-checking that the desired settings are used before applying a refactoring.pic.twitter.com/6JzzrUHxhn
