PhpStorm keeps bugging me with GitHub Login windows, requests new GitHub tokens for every push. GitHub plugin is disabled. Is this a known issue? How do I stop this? @phpstorm @WebStormIDEpic.twitter.com/6432L9S0yk

Thanks for keeping us posted! We're glad to hear that it helped. As for your suggestion, it should be already reflected in the UI (unless we misunderstood you), please see this article: http://jetbrains.com/help/webstorm/github.html#register-existing-account ….
I believe this does work as advertised if the GitHub plugin is enabled. However, I had disabled it while experiencing that problem, so I was left with the native credentials dialog that has a "Password" label for a field that in fact accepts either a password or a token.
Having the label read "Password or OAuth token" or similar, or providing an in-place help tooltip would be a small but useful improvement. Disabling the GitHub plugin might be an edge case, but then again, I'm not sure how it works with GitLab for example.
