Yes, to do this, go to the settings under the Project tool window (click the gear icon for that) and select "File Nesting...". In the popup that appears, you'll be able to change the default settings for .tsx files (see http://jetbrains.com/help/webstorm/file-nesting-dialog.html … for more info).pic.twitter.com/0Hka1DeNLB
Thanks for the reply, this seems to be what I'm after in theory, though it doesn't seem to work. I've removed .js from the list of child file suffixes for .tsx, but it still appears nested (I have restarted webstorm)pic.twitter.com/oOqPHPySOc
Unchecking "Show files with the same names as nested" stops the nesting, which is a fine workaround as I don't really care for this behaviour, however the file still appears highlighted in the tree, labelled with an (x), and does not get indexed for searching:pic.twitter.com/LZud0xdDrq
Please try to follow these steps: http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WEB-37967#focus=streamItem-27-3362822.0-0 … and let us know if it helps. This behavior is expected: WS thinks that js files with the same names as ts files were generated from ts files and auto-excludes the generated file for better performance and navigation.
We've filed a new feature request for your specific case: http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WEB-44002 . Please vote for it and provide more details if there are any. We'll monitor how many users are disturbed by this problem and, if it's common, we'll try to come up with the solution.
