Working with @JetBrainsRider , is there way to configure it for @typescript so it suggest more code cleanups?
e.g.
function getFoo() : string {
}
const x : string = getFoo(); //<-- shouldn't it suggest to omit type on x?

If you focus on the type and hit Alt+Enter, the IDE will suggest removing type declaration. This inspection is called Explicit member types and can be managed in Preferences/Settings | Editor | Inspections | Explicit member types. Please let us know if that answers your question.pic.twitter.com/jEBeW9v2BV

Nope. no such thing appears. I have to try WebStorm specifically, but
@JetBrainsRider does not handle it (for me at least)pic.twitter.com/aDnCTgeDmj

We've just tested it in Rider and it showed up when pressing Alt+Enter. Could you check whether you have this inspection enabled in Preferences/Settings | Editor | Inspections (look for Explicit member types)?
