@jetbrains @WebStormIDE The next big thing in IDEs is intelligently nesting, drag and drop, code snippets. Especially for things like #React and #JSX. It's like all the visual layout tools you've seen except you're dropping into code, in approximate locations.

Can you please provide a bit more details about that? Not sure we understand the concept you're describing in the second part of the tweet. Thanks!

Yeah, it just means you don't have to drop to a specific character index. You could use something like the code folding technology to figure out where the user wanted to drop the component.

Sorry, still not following. What should you drop to the code? Code selected in another file? Or a file?

If it's a file defying a component, would it be really easier to do the drag-and-drop then to simply type the component name?

It's like an item from a panel, like the structure panel, that represents a code snippet. You drop the snippet onto a block of code. The snippet is inserted in that block. Normal snippet activity resumes.

So this panel should show the full content of every available snippet and then you select a snippet from it and drop it to an opened editor to apply it, right? Seems to be very mouse-centric.

It's using the advantages of drag and drop mechanics and merging them with that of editing the code. Take a look at this mock-up.pic.twitter.com/tedFWCvR5m
