Hello, is there anything we can help you with here? Could you shed some light on why you've had to restart WebStorm more often than usual lately, please?

It must have something to do with indexing files. Currently on a project that has many directories with node_modules, even though I thought I excluded them from being indexed, they still are somehow, and it crashes the app.

Thanks for the update! Could you report a performance problem as per http://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/207241235-Reporting-performance-problems … so we could try to solve it? Thanks!

Also, before reporting a problem, you may want to try upgrading to the latest WebStorm version (starting from 2019.3) if you haven't done it yet as we've fixed some problems with indexing of node_modules lately: https://www.jetbrains.com/webstorm/download/ ….
