Did you know that WebStorm can automatically add an import for a symbol even if you’re using default exports? #WebStormTippic.twitter.com/iTa0yO7JEu

It is great feature! It would be cool if “go to definition” had been working similar way to resolve source, especially in monorepos :)

Hi, thanks! It should work the same way for "go to definition". If it doesn't work as expected for you, please provide an example.

I checked behavior: if I have imported something, e.g. function from another package in monorepo and try to go to implementation or go to declaration I will go to import string instead of source.

How is your project set up? Do you use lerna or yarn workspaces? Does navigation work if you click on the package name in the import statement?

We use yarn workspaces. When I click to package name in the import statement I go to node_modules folder.

Sorry, we couldn't reproduce a problem with a simple project. Can you please provide information about your IDE version and project structure? Any chance you can share your project or a similar one? Here's a link to our tracker: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/web Thanks!
