Then all you have to do is assign .mongo file pattern to the JavaScript file type in Preferences | Editor | File Types. Let us know how it goes!

Can you please provide a code sample? If it's not a valid JavaScript syntax, then assigning it to JavaScript file type is not the best idea.

To get code completion and resolve for Mongo Shell methods, you can add this file with the type definitions https://raw.githubusercontent.com/marcinnajder/mongo-shell-assistant/master/src/mongoShell.d.ts … to your project or set it up as a JavaScript library in Preferences | Languages & Frameworks | JavaScript | Libraries.
