Hey @WebStormIDE, we all love WebStorm but having a Java-only plug-in API is a real barrier to expanding the plugin ecosystem.
Have you given any thought to creating a a Node-based JavaScript plugin API?

Hello, yes, we have thought about that. It would require enormous efforts to implement and maintain such APIs and provide good DX for working with them and at the moment we don't feel that we are ready to invest in that.
