I don’t understand how VS Code users tolerate a bright blue status bar with mostly irrelevant information. Can someone explain?

Default theme is really bad. I prefer customization and can't really talk generally. But with customization I enjoy VS Code's simplicity and focus on the code. A good theme it focuses your work. Instead Webstorm has massive amount of data thrown in your face.pic.twitter.com/r36YVT5mSJ

Hey Mahdi, not sure when was the last time you've tried WebStorm, but by default the IDE looks like this. We would appreciate any feedback about the tools windows, panels or icons that you find excessive. Thanks!pic.twitter.com/XMjDiuZDlN

Your IDE is awesome. I use it for JS projects and it's just fantastic. The problem for me personally is that it's kinda (understandably) slow compared to an editor like VS Code and also editors mostly display fewer actions at first glance.

That's not to say that they're not customizable or anything, just the fact that at first glance it'll throw off someone who loves simplicity. But I have to say I love how configurable you've made the IDE. It took me a day but it's serving me great now.

But still whenever I need speed or focus I use VS Code. Also it's much easier to create a custom theme for VS Code and there are a lot of already available themes out there for it.

With the latest update, we've made it easier to create UI themes and there's now a bunch of new theme available: https://plugins.jetbrains.com/contest/intellij-themes/2019 … Maybe you'll find something you like
