I do
@WebStormIDE but sometimes the renaming / refactoring goes catastrophically wrong, and it renames anything with the same name - related or not. Cleanup is never particularly fun, so thank goodness for git.

What would be nice would be some kind of preview / interactive redo.

Hello Dave, sorry to hear about the problems with rename. Any chance you can share a specific example? We are now working on improving the rename experience and it would be really great to have as many real-life examples as possible.

Hello! In my case, I have various namespaced structures with similar contents; http://services.database.windows / http://services.browser.windows / http://commands.content.windows and in this case refactoring one of them from `windows` to `database` renamed ALL project `windows` refs to `database`pic.twitter.com/7bWZuUWiBZ

There seems to be an element of "guessing" in WS which is generally very helpful, but sometime the guessing is wrong and it has really bad consequences.

Yes, in JavaScript WebStorm also looks for and renames the dynamic references of the symbols. Our goal right now is to make sure we always show the refactoring preview in case there is at least one dynamic references.

We are now trying to collect and fix the cases when the rename is done without showing the dialog on the screenshot.
