So. I really really like WebStorm. It’s better than VSCode in every way except 2 which I just cant find myself tolerating: 1) diffs between file in mem and file on system changes (eg eslint fix) are handled badly esp with IdeaVim 2) IdeaVim overrides things like cmd-V in terminal
So do you use vim inside the built-in terminal in the IDE (where the IdeaVim is installed)? Because we've tried copy and paste in the IDE terminal with the plugin on and all seemed fine - cmd-c/v just works in the terminal.

Try it a few times. It’ll eventually fail. So paste something into terminal. Then copy something in editor with IdeaVim and paste into terminal. Some combination will eventually see you pasting in blank lines into terminal. Not terminal vim. IdeaVim defaults. Not terminal vi mode
