So. I really really like WebStorm. It’s better than VSCode in every way except 2 which I just cant find myself tolerating: 1) diffs between file in mem and file on system changes (eg eslint fix) are handled badly esp with IdeaVim 2) IdeaVim overrides things like cmd-V in terminal

1) it doesn’t work with built in terminal, yeah. Only “fix” is to change ctrl-V in IdeaVim config to use IDE but then I loose ctrl-V in vim which makes vim essentially unusable. Is latest IdeaVim and latest WebStorm. Can’t photo as is on work computer.

Are you on macOS? If yes, do you use the standard cmd-c/v or ctrl-c/v?

And regarding 1): can you please provide a bit more info? Do you run eslint in the command line? Do you then use the diff from the VCS tool window? Or something else?

Sorry that last comment was re 2 The issue with reload is if, say, I stash a file make some changes (using vim) and the save. It warns file has changed and then it’s a fight between undo, vim undo and revert file which is handled really poorly versus VSCode or cli vim
