Has this ever happened to you? When using Webstorm CMD to start a #node server, after closing it the server is still running and you don't know what's happening? Here a solution: `taskkill /im node.exe -F`, it kills all your running node.exe processes, so you can use them again.

Always does. When you quit webstorm without stopping the servers leaves those services in the background. When you open WS again, then you have, port already in use error. Welcome to my day.

Can you please check what option do you have here - if it's disconnect, the IDE will leave the process running.pic.twitter.com/hwxbV66g0d

This one applies to the processes that are running in the tool windows and were started using a run/debug configuration. Unfortunately, we can't reproduce your problem when running the process in the terminal - closing the project, quitting or killing the IDE stops the process.
