It won't give you the outside file though. Unless it's through using classes? Not sure.

It gives you local and outer scope for sure, but that doesn't do much for test first or top-down alt-enter driven dev.

I think you can add things across files if those things are being referenced through module import / exports.

To be clear, you’re wanting to add a method to say an imported object, by invoking it, and then using alt+enter to resolve the undefined method error?

The `data` is defined in another file and then imported, right? Right now it looks similar to https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WEB-33088 but a full code sample would be great. Thanks!
