I use webstorm as well, but the lack of communication and very limited possibilities to contribute are kinda depressing

one other example, the debugger while it may work quite well for java, is not ideal for javascript and I oftentimes find myself launching a node program with `--inspect-brk` to be able to use the chrome debugger instead where would I got to have questions anwered?

also it's good to know the vue plugin is open source, but what about the core javascript and typescript integration?

You can find docs for the language support APIs here: https://www.jetbrains.org/intellij/sdk/docs/welcome.html … If you have some specific feature in mind, we can point you to the right APIs or some plugin where a similar feature is implemented.

By default, WebStorm checks if the Closure Compiler type syntax is used in JSDoc, but this inspection can be easily disabled - press Alt-Enter, then arrow right and select Disable inspection.

WebStorm's own type checking will not take this type info into account, but if you use it .ts file or in .js with // @ts-check in , TypeScript compiler will warn you about type errors.

At this very moment, we don't plan to add native support (without TypeScript service) for TypeScript types in comments in .js files, but we're keeping an eye on this.
