@jetbrains why is @intellijidea and @WebStormIDE so horribly slow when I have more than one project open and I'm working with #javascript? Quad core and 16GB RAM aren't sufficient to keep my cursor responsive. The entire team is so slowed down we're looking for alternative IDEs.

Another tip is to make sure that the folders like dist/build/output that are updated by build tools and contain generated code are excluded from the project (right-click on the folder in the Project view and select Mark as Excluded). Hope it helps!
