Every time I am creating a new `.ts` file @WebStormIDE stop responding to any keypress
When I am searching for something - Find File dialogue box is not focused, or even displayed UNDER IDE
In the meantime, WebStorm consumes 100-600% CPU even in IDLE mode
What is wrong with me?

Sorry to hear that
What WebStorm version do you use? The problem with the focus was fixed in WebStorm 2018.1.5: https://blog.jetbrains.com/webstorm/2018/06/webstorm-2018-1-5/ … Regarding TypeScript, any chance you can send us the content of the IDE log folder (menu Help - Show Logs) for investigation?2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

I have a similar issue. Webstorm and a Node process it owns use a lot of CPU and cause very fast battery drain on MacBook Pro.
