    That’s fair, although Diamond OA models can work, as shown by . And let’s not forget about subscriptions for journals, which also are discriminatory. Authors should self-archive more too. And what do you mean by “human”?

    New paper alert 🚨! Saribudak (2019) examines the structure of a tuff ring, which is only poorly exposed in an urban setting. Using geophysical methods, they can image its structure beneath the surface!

    Your point is a good one, but journals can be free for all. is doing it now. It’s a ton of work for the editorial board, but that load should dissipate as more editors join. Diamond open access is possible!
