What President Trump just said is not true. The only reason Americans with pre-existing conditions are protected from discrimination is because of the Affordable Care Act, and the President is trying to repeal that law.

Our country needs a real policy, like the one I championed in the California State Legislature. What and his supporters are proposing is a loan. That doesn't help . America deserves better!

  3. Last year, House Democrats passed HR3, the Act, which would bring down prescription prices and help American families afford their medicines. Now, the Senate needs to act, and President Trump needs to sign the legislation into law.

The Trump Administration is supporting a lawsuit to eliminate the entire ACA, which will take away protections for Americans with pre-existing conditions.

What the President conveniently left out about middle class families tonight: TRUMP ADMIN CLAIM: Tax scam will increase household income for families by avg. $4,000 REALITY: 2018 Household Income Growth was only $550   Perspective: 2015: $2,900 2016: $1,900 2017: $850

Fact Check: The GOP voted over 70 times to repeal the Affordable Care Act, and failed. Now the Trump Administration has a lawsuit to kill the ACA. This is absolutely NOT protecting those with pre-existing conditions.

  7. Actually, drug prices are continuing to skyrocket. Americans can’t afford their medicines and are dying. House Democrats passed the Act, and the Senate should pass it too to bring down prescription costs for families.

  8. No, the President will not always protect your Medicare and Social Security. Just a couple weeks ago he said he is open to cutting earned benefits.

  9. What’s the President not saying? All the improvements in the USMCA for workers, the economy, the environment, and patients are due to tough negotiations by Democrats, led by Chairman .

  10. The President just mentioned nutrition assistance — his Administration is making it harder for vulnerable Americans to put food on the table.

  11. President Trump is talking about jobs. Here’s some helpful job growth data that shows his record isn’t as impressive as he claims.

The House passed HR 3 two months ago to lower drug costs. It would let Medicare negotiate lower drug prices for most Americans, not just seniors. President Trump & the Senate GOP should get on board & work , not Big Pharma!

  16. He won’t admit it during the tonight, but President Trump has failed to lower prescription prices for Americans. Meanwhile, House Democrats passed the bipartisan Act last year.

Before the , patients and survivors could be dropped, denied, or charged more for health insurance. Now, President Trump continues working to take away protections for people with pre-existing conditions like cancer. Patients deserve better. RT if you agree.

Our economic report goes into depth on the details -- those tax cuts utterly failed to deliver the growth Americans were promised: Republicans promised their tax cuts would pay for themselves. Instead we are looking at trillion dollar deficits.

  19. Whatever President Trump says about health care during tonight’s , remember, he supports dismantling our current system, which would result in the repeal of protections for people with pre-existing conditions.

  20. Republicans' tax law was HUGE for big banks. The GOP sold their plan "as a way to revitalize hiring and spending by American companies to boost the economy & help struggling workers, but the windfall is largely staying with banks and their shareholders."
