My dad had guns too, and we weren’t scared of them. When I was old enough (10 or so) we went out and shot them and learned gun safety, and I still have guns. If she had crazy or drunken parents that shouldn’t have owned guns, that’s her problem. Don’t assume everyone’s like that

I need a 3rd gun and I can’t justify the expense right now. Doesn’t bother me at all. Handgun for my wife. My .22 for predators and I’d like to have a handgun for myself. I don’t buy the argument.

I never have to justify firearm purchases. Guns are as mandatory as groceries at our house. Wife doesn't care what I spend on protection

It wasn't the guns, it was the crazy parents you should have been scared of. Also further proof, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree...

"My parents were such wonderful, loving, nurturing, caring, compassionate, kitten-saving people...UNTIL GUNS!!!!"

Plus, if her dad was crazy, and he had a gun, why didn’t her family members just take it away from him, if they were so freaked out about his having access to it? Liberals are like children.
