    So pleased that working with Harlequin Theatricals and , we will be bringing an outdoor theatre to Cassiobury Park from 23 July until 8 August. This will bring a range of theatre, comedy and other performances to the park. Follow for updates.

    The Conservatives' new anti-democratic planning laws would ride roughshod over the views of local people. There is a much better way, using local neighbourhood planning to provide the homes, facilities and infrastructure communities need.

    We agree. It’s a pity that said nothing about these plans when he spoke in this debate. When will he stand up for Watford rather than agreeing with everything the government says? Automatic planning permission for new developments will mean no say for residents.

    3️⃣ Changed planning rules to allow more development to take place without needing permission (e.g. conversion of commercial buildings to flats). always backs the government, isn’t it time he stood up for Watford instead?

    2️⃣ Complained that not enough new homes have been built in Watford. They believe we should have built twice as many new properties in the last three years and has reduced Watford’s power to reject development to punish us for not building enough.
