New Dev Watercooler up re: giving healing a more tactical pace, getting rid of huge PvP modifiers, and more: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/blog/13183878 …

@watcherdev So, Cata all over again, unless you're homogenizing the classes so every healing spec has a triage-capable toolkit?

  3. Watcher ‏@WatcherDev Mar 7

@atanae It's possible for every healing spec to have a triage-capable toolkit without every healing spec feeling/playing the same.

  4. Atanae ‏@atanae Mar 7

@watcherdev I would like to think so, but triage and HoTs don't play well together, and Druids are all about the HoTs.

@atanae Also a world in which more people are partially injured more of the time is a world in which HoTs can do much more effective healing

@watcherdev I'm also a "survivor" of Cata's healing mindset, so I'm colored by those experiences, which were highly painful.

@atanae Completely understood. We're definitely not approaching this saying "Cata healing was perfect, let's do that again!"

@WatcherDev @atanae Atanae the core problem of Cata healing had to do with LFD and the GO GO GO mentality of players from WOTLK

  9. Atanae ‏@atanae Mar 7

@hambolt68 @watcherdev I would say no to that because I only run guild groups. There were some dungeons unhealable by druids.

@atanae @hambolt68 Core problem was high damage output paired with weak regen in blues. Felt better in epics by 4.2 but the damage was done.

@Hambolt68 @WatcherDev @atanae I mostly solo queued as resto and it was fine and got easy in 345. Priests on the other hand was 3.0 again.

@arlockmango @hambolt68 @watcherdev Yet our priest had no issues. Not saying triage is bad, just Cata/Druid triage was underwhelming.

@Hambolt68 @WatcherDev @atanae I wonder how many are basing healing difficulty on ability to heal stupid. We are heroes, not gods.

@WatcherDev Wife healed from vanilla(Hpriest), even with the 1st epics of cata raiding she went OOM in the 5man heroic. led to us quitting.
