    When healers can top off critically injured players in seconds, encounters have to try to kill players before healers can react. Not ideal.

    @WatcherDev no, but when healing becomes harder, it does not become more fun. Thats what happened at the beginning of cata. Wasnt good.

    @Asros The goal isn't to make healing harder, actually. I'd say it's to replace testing reaction time with testing decision-making.

      @WatcherDev Healers are under a lot of pressure in LFD and LFR to always play perfect or get votekicked. I dont see this as really helping

      @Absnthminded @WatcherDev No, but you can do things to help alleviate it. Design means nothing if your players get frustrated and dont play

      @WatcherDev @Asros So, we're going from "Whack-A-Mole" to "Chess"? That sounds like a horrible move as far as "fun" is concerned.

      @BloodElfBoy Can't there be a middle ground?

      @WatcherDev seems it was just me who enjoyed to heal during early cata? H-dungeons' mechanics, deal with oom, cc and interrupt? shaman pov

      @rafaestevam You weren't the only one; but many more found it frustrating. We're aiming to satisfy both groups this time around.

      @BloodElfBoy @WatcherDev @Asros I find chess healing far more fun than whack-a-mole healing. Fun is subjective.

      @WatcherDev I would LOVE some middle ground. Chess in Mythic Raiding, Whack-A-Mole in Raidfinder, and some middle ground inbetween?

      @CaerMorrighan Problem with "Chess" style: it's miserable in Raidfinder and BGs.

      @rafaestevam @WatcherDev I had a lot of fun as well, was easier and made others mistakes more obvious. The pacing was more casual as well.

      @BloodElfBoy @WatcherDev @Asros Chess has near-unlimited variety involving billions of outcomes, Whack-A-Mole has no variety except speed.

      @BloodElfBoy @WatcherDev @Asros So unless your idea of "fun" is almost no variety and endless repetition, then I'd disagree.

      @bench333 Sex has almost no variety, and endless repetition, yet lots of people think it's more fun than Chess.

      @arlockmango @WatcherDev @Asros Not at all. It's already tough to find good heals. Making that role MORE difficult just means fewer healers.
