      RMS did not invent the concept of open knowledge and access to all humanity. Bringing the concept of libraries and open patents into the software world isn't Earth shattering. I'm committed to it, but I'll follow a less horrible demigod.

      If by invent, you mean took concepts that already existed and brought them into the software paradigm then okay. No individual's contributions justify the damage they do to others.... Especially when given a position of power they choose to abuse.
