Hey man, not really any other way to reach you, but I figured I'd just say it here. What you do is different, slower paced but extremely quality work. I lurk and watch your stuff all the time. In fact it's some of the only SC2 stuff I watch these days since I left the SC2 scene.

But in general, you gotta do what's right for yourself and that while I get wanting validation from Twitch / the Starcraft Community and reddit, may matter to you, it's not really something that happens for TO's and most casters.

You're not the only one seeing this. Following your dreams is good, but unless your dream is to work double the effort for half the reward and some point you have to evaluate whether the dream is sustainable. Especially when new competition works for free.

As someone who spent even the height of their SC2 career as a whipping pole for the community on Reddit and TL, I understand the frustration. It's not easy to overlook the unbridled "criticism" often posted even when there is a lot of positive as well.

Take some criticism where there are honest patterns, and focus on whether you personally feel you're giving 100% because only you can know that. You do great work but being realistic about your finances is essential so do what you need to do to be happy, boss.

I can't imagine the pressure of being a caster + tournament host all on your own.. I'd say take some time of if you need to.. people will let it go, shit happens! ^^

To be fair it was the day before the replay cast. Scarlett did play Losria and Impact live. Not taking sides at all but this information is incorrect

I took a beating from the Starcraft community over the years. Back then I felt a lot of the same feelings you talk about. At least then Starcraft was growing and I was making enough money to justify the punishment on a daily basis. I would NEVER sign up for the beating today.

Just know with every vocal asshole or impossible unprofessional player u deal with, you have fans that love your work. At the end of the day u need to weigh the pros and cons. I have a love for SC2 which is why I still play/cast it from time to time. I couldn't full time anymore.
