Make a M+ set ... turn of the set bonus from tier gear in M+ and visa versa problem solved

just lock characters to 4set bonus, or rather, once you have 4set, 2set bonus from other tier do not apply. 2set 2set should still work.

please don't go back to 5 pieces only (at least during legion), that would heavily limit legendary choice as well

Its not even worth using t19 2pc with t20 for most classes because their best legendaries take up tier slots. This was the reason for 6 tier

And Legendaries do not lock us into specific items for those slots? That is the real issue.

What about changing it from set item To an item that is attached to the slot, So the ability will be attached to a slot and not an item?

I feel like a possible solution to this issue could be buying tier tokens with currency you could get from completing dungeons.
