Kind of worried that my cosmetic favoured choice will not line up with what's the best ability, which will be sad, Please perhaps have some sort of way for players to have all 4 covenants and then swap between them at will.

Based on the design of covenants I get the impression that they're borrowed powers. I understand this is but an assumption, however it needs to be said that if that's true, it's a failure before it has even come into existence. Also; covenants should have no player power impact.
