Here’s the problem - people pick and choose who is allowed to make mistakes, who is allowed to grow etc.

Depends on the "mistakes" (a lot of the time it's not a mistake...just a bad choice) and who/how it has impacted And the changed behaviour is the key.

You should never use it in the first place, unless you haven’t forgiven someone. If you truly forgive someone you’ll never use it against them

I don’t even think you should use someone’s mistakes against them. Especially if there’s a pattern of changed behaviour and you can see clearly that they’ve learned from it
