    On 4 February, 262 patients cured and discharged, about FOUR times of that died (65 cases). A total of 892 patients cured and discharged so far, nearly TWICE of deaths (490 cases) caused by . We have every confidence in winning this battle!✊

    6. The case fatality rate is kept under 2.1%, far lower than that of other epidemics hitting the world; cured cases have exceeded fatal ones by a significant margin; and the increase of suspected cases has slowed down. We have the capacity and confidence to win this battle.

    Update: As of 5 Feb, 28018 confirmed cases (361 fatalities, 1153 cured, 3859 severe cases), 24702 suspected cases were reported by China. 282813 people are traced, 186354 are under observation. On 1 Feb, number of cured cases overtaken that of fatalities, now it's 3 times larger.

    6. Wang said, Yesterday, when speaking on behalf of Africa at WHO Executive Board, Tanzania spoke highly of China. The crisis would have been worse had it not been for measures taken by China. He also assured China of Africa's cooperation.China appreciates these words of support.
