I post everything into my self message channel on slack. It is a super quick way of jotting down links and note.s Later, on weekends, I go through and sort through everything. I regularly print and read papers on the subway.

I know the feeling. At one point I had this idea that I'll go through all the books and articles that are piled up on my desk. Now I have resigned myself to the fact that it will never happen.

Somebody should give a (constantly updated) course like “Survey of Recent Advances in Machine Learning”—really a 2-person job, one a curator who is good at getting a sense of what is or will be important, and one a professor who will learn the details well enough to teach.
