An Iowa Republican asked me last night why I support the Democrats on impeachment. I told him I support the truth. And when it comes to what Trump did & whether it’s worthy of his removal, only the Democrats are trying to get at the truth. The Republicans aren’t. And that sucks.

I wish for the GOP of the past. I am about as liberal as they come, but we need to healthy balance of both liberal and conservative for a truly functional governance.

It is absurd that there is one side actively trying to ‘prevent witnesses’. Think about that phrase: prevent witnesses. In what world could that be a noble action? There is no ethical situation where preventing witnesses could be a good thing. Not if you care about the truth.
