Last night, a supporter yelled at me because I publicly thanked Nancy Pelosi 4 doing the right thing on impeachment. Him: “How dare you side with Pelosi?” Me: “Because she’s defending the Constitution against a President who’s serially abusing it.” He’s now a former supporter.

One of the most inexplicable things of all is why the MAGA types trust Trump—who’s never done a lick of public service or put anyone’s needs ahead of his own, and who gave money to whichever candidates could help him—over a slew of staunch conservative voices.
