I disagree, if Trump hadn’t started this, I’m 98% sure those wonderful people would still be alive.
1. Iran, and only Iran, is responsible for the downing of that Ukrainian airliner. 2. Donald Trump has absolutely no idea what he’s doing in the Middle East. It’s okay to believe both those things at the same time.

Assuming they did, do we really think Iran would have inadvertently shot it down w/o trump's aggression and escalation? It's fair to place blame on trump for escalating tensions and panic to the point that this accident could happen, but not to lay it on his shoulders entirely.

Iran downed the plane during the fog of war which was a direct result of an irrational and illegal assassination by trump. His recklessness contributed to those deaths.

In the law, we have some thing called contributory negligence. Trump has a measure of blame for taking us to the brink of war with his stupidity. Iran has quite a bit of blame too. It is important that we be both truthful about all this.
