I'm an independent and for the rule of law. My constitution does not have holes in it to conveniently apply wherever I choose. It is a sacred document that our founding fathers drafted to prevent tyranny. It must be applied and this president must stand trial for treason.
Don’t blame the Democrats for an impeachment that won’t be bipartisan. Democrats made the case for it. The President’s impeachable conduct is all right there for both Parties to see. No...blame the Republicans. They all decided to defend Trump and not defend the Constitution.

^^^ Bingo! Not only stand trial, but be removed from office. Allowing him to remain only shows acceptance for this behavior, and invites further transgressions against that very constitution.

When all this is over, and, hopefully our republic is saved, that party should be condemned like a toxic dump and a new party started, without the current Republicans. The country needs opposing parties, but not neofascist parties nor puppet parties.

As a former Republican I will never again vote Republican until that party is purged. They have all sold their soul to a false orange idol. It’s one of the saddest things to witness
