Too many of Trump’s supporters are perfectly okay with a King or a dictator as long as the King or the dictator gives them some of what they want. I’m not okay with a King or a dictator. Ever.

But he’s actually not giving them what they want. He’s lying and saying he does, and they buy it. I was not a fan of #1984 when I read it in high school. I’m gobsmacked that we’re now living it.
