They do pay attention. And millions & millions of American children are being taught everyday by this President that it’s perfectly ok to lie. That it’s ok to be cruel. That it’s ok to be a bully. No tax cut or judicial appointment can undo this damage.

I have just now started discussing politics in depth with my 10 year old daughter. And this has been the hardest thing to explain...how she needs to respect the office of the president while at the same time admitting that he is outright lying.

Do this. My 12 yr old grabs my tablet and reads Trump’s tweets out loud. It sounds so silly. Of coarse, he uses his kid voice and can’t stop laughing at the ridiculousness under his breath. Even kids know that this is wrong and that Trump sounds like a poorly behaved child!
