The best thing for the process is to delay the vote and investigate further. Republicans shouldn’t just ram through a nomination. Eventually, they’ll be in the minority (as votes trend throughout history) and would expect discretion from the majority party.
Everybody needs to have their quick take on the charges against Brett Kavanaugh. I don't have my take yet. I don't know what to think of it all yet. So I'm going to wait. The one thing I do know is this: This whole damn situation stinks.

Where is the affinity for justice, the personal accountability and the restitution? What we got was a prepared defense and it reflects poorly for such a highly appointed judge. Very Trumpesque.

My wish is that men would understand that women don't always speak of "sexual assault" by men. Women will try to rationalize it, blame themselves and try everything to console themselves. It does not mean it didn't happen it just means they did not speak up for numerous reasons.

The female was 15 and probably too young to be at the party, and may have misinterpreted and read into what occured. 35 years later her imagination may have taken over, or she is a total Lib that wants to knock him down, or she is being paid! The story doesn't seen like it fits
