I was reading about what Israel does. This was after being flown out to DC to get a friend of Israel award, a 45 min made up interview about my support for Israel. Wedged in there was this sliver about kids and guns. And no, I don't believe we should train & arm kindergarteners.

Can you see why those of us advocating for some level gun control are baffled by this? Basic registration, a background check for all gun sales. A no-buy list for felons and domestic s users? We’re not trying to “take” anyone’s guns. We’re looking for ANY common ground.
These gun control measures might sound like "basic common sense", but gun registration is a no-go from the get-go. Registration sets the stage for confiscation. Every. Single. Time. Period. No can do.

The words you speak are your responsibility whether they are read from a TelePrompTer or not. Seen plenty of scripts that didn’t align with my values and so I didn’t speak those words. Basic integrity.
So for a free flight and a free award, you'd endorse kindergarten kids being armed with guns? That's all it takes to lose your integrity. What would you endorse for money?
