@slpng_giants After lynching comments, Walmart donates to Cindy Hyde-Smithhttps://popular.info/p/after-lynching-comments-walmart-donates …

She said awful things well before your contribution. Thanks for withdrawing, but it might be useful for you to review these candidates before contributing large sums of money. Maybe donate the same amount to a local community that needs the help instead.
-
Walmart most likely did review her candidacy. They just didn't expect us to.

Here at Walmart, our values state that we should do terrible things until, and not a second after, everyone notices.

Why on earth would you even except or order those? If you don't donate to Espy, or another local cause, I may have to quit shopping there.
-
Been 10 years Wal-Mart free. Stopped shopping there when associates at a local store had signs up at checkout asking for donations so they could have a decent holiday. Yes ... really. They would give employees just enough low wage hrs to not be eligible for snap. Hence begging.
-
WM employees do qualify for SNAP. And because of their 10% discount, they buy their groceries at Wal Mart. So, the Walton’s get a kick back from that too. They’re disgusting.
-
I work at Walmart, and I recently got denied benefits for SNAP, because I "Make too much money" there.
-
Yeah. I was like, are you kidding me??

Still not shopping there. They don't do the right thing until they're caught. I'll be buying my groceries from a locally owned grocer and doing my Christmas shopping at small business shops. .
-
Politics aside, it’s the worst shopping experience there is. I went to Walmart once. Once!
-
I mean, that’s great that you can do that, but remember that we have created an economy where not everyone has access or the financial ability to shop at smaller stores. Walmart didn’t create the problem, they’ve just taken advantage of it. Yay capitalism!
-
That's so true. I shop for the elderly. They MUST be able to get their beans for .50 a can. Otherwise they can't afford to eat. It's just that basic.
-
I'm also fortunate that I'm able to grow a garden and can my own harvest. I give away extras to neighbors and the local food bank.pic.twitter.com/6fFWCKGuKb

That’s a fine looking garden.

Thank you.
