Borsak: "I took a deep breath... My reflexes took over as the rifle fired at 6 paces from the brain of the giant [and] he went down, as if in slow motion. I could still see that small hazel eye, looking at me, without recognition, before the bullet put out his lights forever.”https://twitter.com/whereisdaz/status/1054313461297999872 …

      Replying to @Peter_Fitz

Culling of rogue & old elephants is accepted part of wildlife management in several African countries. Otherwise their own park rangers have to shoot those “beautiful creatures”. The $$$ paid goes straight to help #conservation

Absolute bullshit... majority run by private companies , that then pay graft money to corrupt govt officials....”conservation” mere cover for further embedding corruption in Africa

      Replying to @WalksWithRhinos @LelHulagirl101 and

2/2 a proportion is paid in fees to govt, a larger proportion will go in bribes, and the majority will go to set up private “conservation” lodges/businesses that run on charging big money to small dicked fuckwits that get hard ons from killing animals
