...because that's what America was DESIGNED to do - *unless* they were genuinely unqualified-for or - by virtue of being ignorant, incompetent, assholes or all 3 - undeserving-of anything more than what they have. In which case, who cares?
Those feelings apply to millions of Americans. The majority of those people don't plot to kidnap a Governor. A lot of them march in protest. Many of those folks meet tear gas and rubber bullets. Right wing anti government militia member are NOT victims.
This is my point though. Even acknowledging that most people don't become radicalized terrorists, millions feel like this...

No. It is the middle classes, the petit bourgeois feeling that they are not given a special stake in society. This is not new. In terms of capitalist crisis, the petit bourgeois & the middle classes turn to fascism.
