I've written this before but feel I must write it again. The media coverage and treatment of Trump and his acolytes would be remarkably different if he attacked Whites the way he has continuously attacked people of color. Many colleagues don't care bc it doesn't affect them.
And by attacks I should add that includes the policies he ran on in 2016 and has advocated since that mainly pour gasoline on white racial anger and resentment, which was the predominant, not only, reason why most voted for him. It wasn't mainly "economic anxiety."
I think it’s more to do with sensational news, we all wanna know and watch what that mofo is saying, it’s us who give the ratings and a base to media, if no one wanted to hear it media will change in a heart beat

I’m sick of media treating him like he’s normal, he’s not, & I’m sick of them being shocked every time he throws a new racist rant out there, he’s racist, and it’s not shocking.

Disappointing to read this. In my time in journalism, I've found that my colleagues of all stripes and colors take seriously their roles in a functioning democracy. As an old politician I knew used to say, someone's got to keep the bastards honest.
