Trump had one job: read a script off a Teleprompter & pretend to care about racism. That's it. He said Toledo instead of Dayton. Just pause and reflect. That means the entire Administration couldn't even give a single F to get the city right. The writers, editors, Trump. No one.

Hadn't thought of it that way. Even the speechwriter couldn't be bothered.

I believe it was intentional. Most of what they do is intentional (does not imply strategic). What was the outcome? He showed that he really does not give a shit about the cities/people/or what he was saying. He had to. This is a wink and nod to white nationalists.

I think that you're implying that they just don't care.

I, nobody of nobodies, however, after the events of this weekend, could not POSSIBLY get those cities wrong. Because I’ve actually been paying attention! #POSPOTUS
