The ‘incel’ community is a trough of poisonous misogyny. This is not the first time that a man pickled in the propaganda of such forums has committed mass murder in their name. This is terrorism, just as much as any violent act of religious extremism. Call it by its name.

Thing is that I still see these guys as victims, not of "women" or anything that silly, but of society. When I was younger I danced on the lip of that volcano, fortunately I didn't fall in, it's a depressing and honestly torturous place to be, with very few positive rolemodels.

I'm not excusing their behaviours when those behaviours become extreme, I do understand that position you can find yourself in where your radicalisation becomes easy.

I don't think the problem is necessarily with their treatment, but how they respond to it male rage tends to explode rather than implode. Teaching them to work through that kind of disappointment, rejection and unfairness will save lives imo

Thing is, few boys will act out in explosive rage unless it was taught to them, men internalise a lot too, but what's changing more these days is that boys go online to rationalise these feelings and too often get funnelled to MRA/incel groups who promote violent retaliations.
