    NEW ! The granite falls waterfall/fish ladder is absolutely raging this morning on the Stillaguamish River. It is 6 1/2 feet higher than it was the other day we filmed at this location. Multiple homes down stream are also flooded unfortunately.

    On this day ( Feb. 3 ) last year Seattle got 1 inch of snow. 9 days later Seattle had received a total of 20.2" of snow making February 2019 the 4th snowiest month on record at Sea-Tac airport surpassed only by Jan. 1950 ( 57.2"), Jan. 1969 ( 45.4") & Dec. 1968 ( 22.1").

    ❄️Who remembers this?! One year ago today was the beginning of a nearly two week long cold snap that brought multiple rounds of lowland winter storms to the western Washington lowlands. In this video package is snowy scenes from Mukilteo, to Lake Stevens on 02-03-2019.

    Sounding for Sunday around noon are still interesting. I've seen worse conditions produce spouts/weak tornadoes on the coast and events can produce nice rotating storms with this kind of NW shear aloft underneath the EL level. Hoping for little stronger winds.
