We need to win 2 races to stay within reach of 1.5°C — the sprint to reduce methane emissions 30% by 2030 and the marathon to net-zero decarbonization by 2050. We have the necessary tools to curb methane this decade. We just need political will and finance to quickly back it up.

If you work on climate or environment *anything*, it's so important to read about gas, coal, oil, and commodity markets. If you don't, how could you ever posit an alternative?

In D.C. this year, 16 youths have been fatally shot. More than 80 have been shot and survived. Both of those numbers have increased compared to the same time last year. It's impossible to describe the impact that violence, but I tried here. (1/6)
