All sampling was complete yesterday and sent to the lab but the results have to sit for 18-24 hours before our Water Department can analyze. If the samples are clear, we should be able to clear the advisory this afternoon; however, we can not confirm until testing is complete.

Samples had to be collected from more than 150 sites across the east bank before being cultured and tested. All sampling was complete yesterday and sent to the lab but the results have to sit for 18-24 hours before our Water Department and LDH can analyze.

The boil water advisory is still in effect for the east bank. Our Water Department collected bacteriological samples from 150 different sites. Those samples were brought to the lab yesterday and are still being analyzed to assure the water meets potable water standards.
