    A state of emergency has been declared for the ACT as it faces the worst bushfire threat since the 2003 bushfires, while conditions across NSW are set to deteriorate over the weekend

  13. This little koala was given a helping hand by after she suffered severe burns on the pads on her paws and lost one of her claws. Thanks to supporters' donations we were able to deploy crucial funds to enable RSPCA QLD to continue the amazing work they're doing 🐾🐨

  20. WWF-Australia’s Head of Healthy Land and Seascapes Darren Grover with young koala, Maryanne. ⁣ Maryanne survived a raging bushfire at Wivenhoe Pocket, QLD and is now in care after being treated at the Wildlife Hospital. ⁣ ⁣ Read more:

  21. Maryanne is one very lucky koala. She survived a raging fire in Queensland that sadly, many other koalas couldn’t escape. We have deployed emergency funds to to enable specialist vets to provide urgent treatment and care for the huge influx of injured wildlife 🐨👇
